Extremely low quality product and was a 3-D printer piece of plastic. The shipping box that came in was destroyed.

The part is slightly different from the OEM piece that it is replacing, as the OEM piece has clips along the back of the whole piece, with larger “hooks” at both ends, that slide into the holes on the steering wheel. This piece has the the same clips along the entire piece, but does not have the hooks at the ends.

I was expecting chrome, and this is just grey plastic. That isn’t clear from the description or the photos, although lots of reviews do mention it. I was disappointed when I first got it, and asked about returning it. OldGM customer service was very helpful and said I could return it if I wanted. But I decided to give it a try in my steering wheel, and I think it looks great. The dimensions are perfect, unlike a chrome one I ordered from eBay, which was way too small. I considered trying to paint this one with a chrome-like paint, but I don’t think I’ll bother. It looks better once it’s in the wheel, and it’s a decent match for the grey-colored frame around the horn button.
